Ashbee confident of climbing table

Hull skipper Ian Ashbee believes it is only a matter of time before manager Nigel Pearson discovers a winning formula. The Tigers have struggled to adapt to life in the Championship under Pearson this season and have been languishing at the wrong end of the table. But they clinched their first win in nine games at Preston last weekend and Ashbee insists they will move clear of trouble. He told the club's official website: "You don't want to be down there but I know we've got a good enough squad here. I've been around quite a few squads at Hull and I know this is a very good one. It's a matter of finding the right mixture and blend. "I've got no worries about us pushing up the table. It's important to get ourselves out of there because psychologically it's not good but I just know there's a good side in there, it's just a matter of finding it."
