Arsenal skipper Fabregas flabbergasted by stick he got over Hull spit-gate

Cesc Fabregas thinks he has been unfairly treated over the allegations that he spat at Hull City assistant manager Brian Horton last week. City boss Phil Brown said he saw the Arsenal captain spit at Horton's feet in the tunnel after the Tigers lost 2-1 in an FA Cup quarter-final at the Emirates last Tuesday. Fabregas 'categorically' denied the allegations and now reports in Spain say the 21-year-old is upset with the treatment he has received in the English press. The Arsenal captain, who is out injured with a knee problem, cannot understand the criticism he has received for his behaviour after his team progressed to the semi-final and it has even been suggested he could consider his future at the Emirates. Hull have until tomorrow to make a formal complaint to the FA.
