Angry McCormack 'happy' at Cardiff
Ross McCormack has reacted angrily to the latest reports linking him with a move away from Cardiff.
The Scotland international's future has been the subject of much debate this summer, despite only signing a new four-year deal in July.
It had been reported that the forward had handed in a transfer request, but that was later denied by the 22-year-old.
Hull City and Portsmouth have been credited with an interest in McCormack, who admits he has asked Cardiff for permission to speak to any Premier League clubs should an offer be made.
He was then quoted as expressing an interest in joining Hull, but reportedly claimed the Bluebirds' £5million valuation was 'pricing people out of the market'.
But McCormack has moved to clear up the matter, telling Cardiff's official website: "I don't know where those quotes have been dug up from.
"Everyone seems to think I don't care about Cardiff and I want to leave, but that's not the case. I'm happy here, so is my fiancee, and we're looking for a new house.
"The fans here have been brilliant and it's killing me they are reacting as if I want to leave as soon as I can. I'm happy and not planning to go anywhere.
"I'm upset at these reports but everyone knows the situation, I had a conversation with the chairman and said that if a Premier League club came in for me, I'd like the chance to speak to them.
"There was no transfer request."
