Allan McGregor's agent has confirmed that the Scotland goalkeeper is closing in on a switch to Premier League newcomers Hull City. The 31-year-old currently plies his trade for Besiktas after joining them on a free transfer from Rangers last summer. However, he has failed to settle into life in Turkey and is seeking a return home, with Tigers boss Steve Bruce keen on landing the shot-stopper. McGregor's agent Dave Baldwin said in The Sun: "Negotiations with Allan are progressing well and there are no major obstacles to a deal being done. "Allan is keen to play in the Premier League and very keen to play under Steve Bruce, so now we just have to push the talks forward."
