Alexander salutes Clarets response
Centurion Graham Alexander admitted it was crucial Burnley made a positive response to losing their 100% home record with victory over Premier League strugglers Hull.[LNB]Alexander marked his 100th league appearance for the club with a brace as the Clarets registered their fifth win in six games at Turf Moor, the only blip coming against Wigan the previous Saturday.[LNB]He told the club`s official website: "It was really important we got back to winning ways because it was disappointing to lose our home record last week.[LNB]"It was a massive game for us and we were really pleased to get the three points.[LNB]"You have to fight and scrap for everything you get in the Premier League. We had to play well but we deserved the three points."
