Adelaide United have set their sights on signing Hull City striker Richard Garcia.[LNB] Buoyed by Jason Culina's decision to leave PSV Eindhoven for Gold Coast United next term, Adelaide are on the lookout for a big-name player to replace retired striker Paul Agostino.[LNB]The A-League club recently sent assistant coach Phil Stubbins on a two-week scouting assignment in the United Kingdom that has featured meetings with Tigers boss Phil Brown.[LNB]Stubbins, a former Hull City player himself, is an admirer of Garcia and believes the Australian would be a great addition to Adelaide's squad.[LNB]"Richard Garcia is someone who did a great job for himself in becoming a Premier League player and has done a decent job this season," he told The Advertiser.[LNB]"If he decides to come back to Australia it would be good to be able to use our association to get him to Adelaide. All these things are possible, it is just about timing."[LNB]
