Worthy handed Terriers exit

Huddersfield Town boss Lee Clark has confirmed that midfielder Jon Worthington will not be offered a new contract by the League One club.

The 26-year-old has not featured for the Terriers since the turn of the year and spent a couple of months out on loan at Yeovil Town.

Clark told the club's official website: "I have spoken to Jon and he will be looking for a new club in the summer. He's been a terrific servant to the club.

"He will not be part of my long-term plans and I've already sat down and told him that.

"I wanted to speak to him before I made a statement, so that's been done."
