Worthy goes under the knife

Huddersfield Town captain Jonathan Worthington is set to have surgery on a troublesome hernia injury.
Worthington, who has yet to appear in the Terriers first team this season, has been plagued with similar injury problems in the last few years.
The 24-year-old will fly to Germany on Sunday with Terriers physio Lee Martin, to consult with famous German specialist Dr Ulrike Muschaweck.
Worthington is set to go under the knife on Tuesday. If the operation is a success, the Terriers skipper should be back playing in four weeks.
Dr Mushaweck has successfully treated Alan Shearer and Michael Owen with hernia related injuries with the latter only being out of action for ten days.
Worthington has played 155 games for Huddersfield since 2002 when he signed professional terms after coming through the club's youth team ranks.
