Terriers target derby boost
13 Nov 2008 - 14:02:46
Huddersfield Town midfielder Andy Holdsworth believes a win against Leeds United on Saturday could turn their disappointing season around.
The Terriers are currently without a manager following last week's departure of Stan Ternent and find themselves down in 16th place in the League One table.
But a victory in Saturday's West Yorkshire derby at Elland Road could kick-start their season, according to Holdsworth.
He told the club's official website: "It's a massive game this weekend - probably the biggest of the season for us so far.
"If we can get a result at Elland Road, it could turn our season around.
"We can still achieve something this season - there is no doubt about that.
"I think we should be aiming to get up the league by Christmas time, because that is a good indication of where you will end up.
"We'll keep plugging away and hopefully we will break into the top six."
