Huddersfield Town manager Peter Jackson hopes that Frank Sinclair's arrival at the Galpharm Stadium will add some much-needed know-how to his defence.
The 35-year-old former Chelsea and Leicester City star moves to the Terriers on loan from Burnley until the end of the season, with a view to a longer-term deal in the summer.
"Frank Sinclair has got lots of experience which will be a valuable addition to the backline," Jackson told Town's official website.
"We have a young back four and he will hopefully add more steel to the defence.
"We have been doing okay recently in defence, but we certainly need cover there."
