Terriers pounce for Peltier

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark insists his summer rebuilding plans are not finished despite snaring Yeovil Town right-back Lee Peltier.

The Terriers have already landed Peter Clarke, Antony Kay and Robbie Simpson since the end of last season and continue to be linked with former Watford striker Theo Robinson.

Clark told Town's official website: "I'm delighted to have signed Lee Peltier because he's another to have been courted by clubs in our league and in the Championship.

"I was impressed with him when he came on trial to Norwich. He's a fantastic athlete and, having been schooled at Liverpool, he's very accomplished on the ball.

"I wanted to bring in a right-back because of the situation with Andy Holdsworth and the uncertainty surrounding Martin Kelly's availability from Liverpool, and I'm delighted we've got Lee because he'll be a tremendous asset.

"He's one of four signings already who've been added to Lee Novak from last January and, hopefully, one or two others could be very close."
