Huddersfield Town beat Thursday's loan deadline to snap up Bristol City striker Phil Jevons.
The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order following the Robins' rise to the Championship in the summer and has joined Huddersfield on an initial one-month loan basis.
The former Yeovil Town marksman has scored 88 times in 203 career starts.
"As everyone knows, we've been chasing a player for quite a few weeks now and we've finally managed to get him here," Terriers manager Andy Ritchie told the club's official website.
"He's scored a lot of goals wherever he's been and we're all very pleased to have him here.
"He's a clever play that links up well and I'm sure that he'll get his fair share of goals for us."
