Terriers extend Eccleston's loan

Published: 01 Feb 2010 - 20:46:37

The 19-year-old signed for an initial month last week in time to make a goalscoring debut in Saturday's 1-0 win at Yeovil and Terriers manager Clark has moved to complete a longer deal. Clark said: "We originally wanted to bring Nathan in on a longer-term loan, but paperwork takes time and we had to ensure he was available for the Yeovil game, so we initially put it through for a month. "There is still more to come from him, without a doubt. He only had a couple of sessions with the rest of the team ahead of Yeovil, but I felt he bedded in really well. "He worked hard, formed a good partnership with Jordan Rhodes and took his goal well. He gives us a good option in attack."
