Terriers boss wanted more
28 Apr 2007 - 13:27:31
Huddersfield Town manager Andy Ritchie felt the Terriers deserved more than a point from Friday's 1-1 draw with Northampton Town.
Andy Holt fired the Cobblers into a second-half lead before David Mirfin glanced home a 75th minute equaliser to earn the Terriers a point.
"I thought it was a good game and I felt that we played well," he told the club's official website.
"I actually felt we deserved more than a point as we created quite a few chances.
"We were pleased that we kept going after we conceded and I can never really have a go at my players if they give me 100 per cent."
Meanwhile, the new Town boss has admitted he has already identified areas of the squad he wants to improve in the summer after just two games in charge.
"I'm still learning about my players," he continued. "We do need some width though and that's something I want by the start of next season."
