Huddersfield have been hit by the news that Gary Taylor-Fletcher faces six weeks out with a medial knee ligament injury picked up at Bradford last Saturday.
League One's joint-top scorer limped out of the 1-0 West Yorkshire derby win at Valley Parade after 50 minutes because of the injury and a specialist has confirmed he will be absent for over a month.
On the 25-year-old's injury, Terriers boss Peter Jackson told the club's official website: "It's a big blow - he is not only our leading scorer, but one of the highest scorers in the league at the moment."
Meanwhile Jackson will travel to the Football Association next Tuesday to face a disciplinary hearing on his improper conduct charge.
The charge goes back to August when he was sent to the stands after getting involved in a touchline clash with Bristol City midfielder Lee Johnson at the Galpharm Stadium.
