Huddersfield Town winger Gary Roberts has been handed a three-match ban by the Football Association.
The 25-year-old has been retrospectively sent off after the match referee reviewed video footage of a mass confrontation between players from the Terriers and Bristol Rovers.
Roberts will miss Town's next three games - starting with the Carling Cup clash at Newcastle United - as well as the League One matches against Yeovil Town and Rotherham United.
The Terriers have decided not to appeal against the decision.
Chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: "The recording of the incident doesn't make pleasant viewing. It could and should have been avoided.
"As a result we've lost a player for three games and face penalties as a club."
