Huddersfield Town boss Andy Ritchie was full of pride in his players after they gave a battling performance in their 3-1 FA Cup fifth round defeat at
Chelsea.
The Terriers drew level at 1-1 at Stamford Bridge right on half-time through Michael Collins, but were eventually overpowered by the reigning FA Cup holders.
He told the club's official website: "I'm really proud of my team. The lads showed a lot of passion and they were magnificent all the way through.
"We scored at a really good time, although I wish it had been on 90 minutes instead. That goal gave us a real lift when we came out for the second half.
"At half-time I told the lads that we were showing them a little bit too much respect and that I wanted some more tackles to go in.
"We needed to be a little bit stronger physically to knock them out of their stride. I thought we looked more positive in the second half.
"We didn't have any really clear-cut chances, but we didn't give up and we should take a lot of confidence out of this game. In the end, we caused one of the best sides in Europe some real problems."
