Former Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie has revealed his interest in the vacant managerial position at Huddersfield Town.
The Terriers are on the lookout for a new manager after sacking Peter Jackson earlier in the week and Ritchie, who left the Tykes in November, is believed to be in the frame.
Ritchie has also been linked with Huddersfield's Yorkshire rivals Bradford City and Rotherham, who are both seeking to appoint new managers.
"I think I've been linked with all three that are currently available and it's nice to be back in the frame," he confirmed.
"I'm itching to get back into management, but it's disappointing for the lads who have got the sack."
