Rhodes ready for Leeds

Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes is eagerly anticipating this weekend's West Yorkshire derby against fierce rivals Leeds United.

The lunchtime kick-off at Elland Road is expected to draw a bumper crowd and the 13-goal hitman knows how important it is to the club's fans.

With Leeds topping the League One table and Lee Clark's Terriers sitting pretty in fifth place, the 19-year-old will be striving to grab a starting berth to help shoot his side closer to the summit.

Speaking to Huddersfield Examiner, he said: "Derbies are looked forward to by players as well as supporters.

"Town and Leeds are even closer geographically and it soon became clear to me how much this match means to everyone in Huddersfield."
