Reds starlet joins Terriers

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark has signed Liverpool's teenage defender Martin Kelly on loan until the end of the season but insists that Joe Skarz is not for sale.

The Terriers have allowed Skarz to join Hartlepool United on loan but are not interested in making the switch permanent.

"Joe's the only player who's gone out on loan who isn't available," Clark told The Huddersfield Examiner.

"The other players who've been loaned are either not in my long-term planning or out of contract in the summer and they're putting themselves in the shop window.

"Joe isn't in that boat and I've stipulated to Hartlepool that there's no chance of him going there permanently."

Meanwhile, Clark has recalled Jon Worthington from his loan spell at Yeovil Town.
