New Terriers deal for Berrett

Huddersfield Town midfielder James Berrett has committed his long-term future to the Terriers by penning a new three-year contract with the club.

The 20-year old midfielder still had 12 months to run on his existing deal but Town manager Lee Clark has moved quickly to ensure Berrett will remain at the Galpharm Stadium until the end of the 2011-12 campaign.

Berrett told the club's official website: "I think we're going places and I want to be a part of it.

"You can see the quality that the recent signings possess and I think that's indicative of the way the club's moving.

"I'm sure more will be coming in and I hope we can really achieve something here next season."
