New deal for Town youngster

Huddersfield Town have handed promising youngster Danny Racchi a one-year contract extension.

The 19-year-old winger has yet to make a first-team start for the Terriers, but came off the substitute's bench in a 2-2 draw with Port Vale at the Galpharm Stadium in March.

"I've been with the club since I was eight and there's no way I want to leave now, so the contract offer was great news," Racchi told the club's official website.

"It gives me a bit of security and allows me to focus on my football."
