Jevons seeks Town stay
18 Dec 2007 - 13:37:53
Former Grimsby Town and Yeovil Town striker Phil Jevons is keen to seal a permanent switch to Huddersfield Town.
The 27-year-old is currently on loan at the Galpharm Stadium from Bristol City and has scored three times in five appearances for the Terriers.
"I said when I first came to Huddersfield that I wanted a permanent deal and nothing has changed," Jevons told the Bristol Evening Post.
"This is a great club with a great set of players and I'd love to remain here.
"There's not much more I can say because it's down to the business people at both clubs. But I really hope they get something sorted."
