Jevons opts for Town stay

Huddersfield Town manager Andy Ritchie is pleased to have tempted Bristol City striker Phil Jevons to extend his stay with the Terriers into a second month.
The former Everton forward was scheduled to return to Ashton Gate when his initial month's loan ended on Saturday, but Ritchie was always keen to keep a player who has scored three goals in four Town starts.
The former Barnsley boss told the Terriers' official website: "I'm very pleased, we desperately need him here over the Christmas period to give us another option up front.
"It's great that we have him here on loan and hopefully we can do something more permanent when the transfer window re-opens.
"He's done very well for us so far and, once he gets fully match-fit, he'll get even better.
"I'm pleased that we've managed to secure him again."
