Huddersfield manager Peter Jackson appealed for Town fans to get behind the club after an angry protest was staged following Saturday's 3-2 home defeat to Yeovil Town.
The demonstration was aimed at Terriers chairman Ken Davy after the club slumped to 19th in the League One table.
Jackson has pleaded with the fans, saying: "It's important that we all stick together.
"What happened after the game wasn't very pleasant, but people have to realise that without Mr Davy the club wouldn't still be here.
"He saved the club from administration three years ago and the fans need to remember that."
