Iron ready for striker moves

Scunthorpe United manager Nigel Adkins has revealed he is close to completing deals to land a pair of new strikers.
Adkins has agreed the transfers in principle and will conclude the moves to sign the mystery pair when he returns to Glanford Park from a management course next week.
"I am almost 100 per cent certain that we have reached agreement with one - and 99 per cent certain with the other," he told the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph.
"But I do not want to name any names until we have actually got them to put pen to paper."
Meanwhile, the Iron are reportedly close to agreeing a new contract with midfielder Jim Goodwin.
The 25-year-old midfielder is expected to put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Championship-bound club.
