Lynch eyes return
Huddersfield defender Joel Lynch is hoping to return for the home game against Bolton after an injury lay-off.
Centre-half Lynch, sidelined since mid-February due to a hip problem, played for an hour with the development squad in midweek and came through unscathed.
Striker James Vaughan, recently back from a calf injury, has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cyst on his knee which requires surgery to remove.
Huddersfield have drawn their last two games and are chasing their first league win in seven matches.
Alan Hutton can keep his place in Bolton's starting line-up after extending his loan deal.
The Scotland international's month-long stay from Aston Villa was due to expire, but he has now agreed terms to remain at the Reebok Stadium for the remainder of the season.
It means Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman has plenty of options in his defence with Matt Mills fit following a knee injury. Alex Baptiste was only on the bench against Bolton despite returning from suspension.
Bolton remain without Marc Tierney (broken leg), Joe Riley (knee), Darren Pratley (shoulder) and Stuart Holden (knee).
