Hope for Holdsworth return
19 Mar 2009 - 15:42:08
Huddersfield Town boss Lee Clark has acknowledged that there is a chance midfielder Andy Holdsworth will be back from injury in time to face Cheltenham on Saturday.
The 25-year-old damaged his ankle against Tranmere Rovers last weekend but has made good progress in the build up to the clash with League One's bottom club.
"He took knocks on the ankle a couple of times and had to come off, but we feel that he could be ready," Clark told the Huddersfield Examiner.
The former Newcastle United midfielder is also hoping to have Danny Cadamarteri back after the striker went for a scan this week to assess the damage done to his calf.
"We have had the scan just to see if there is improvement with his calf problem and when we see the results we can maybe look at stepping up his training with regard to the weekend," Clak added.
