Former Wigan Athletic and Gillingham midfielder Michael Flynn has agreed a two-year deal with Huddersfield Town after being released by Blackpool at the end of last season.
The 27-year-old played under current Terriers boss Stan Ternent when the two men were at Gillingham and the veteran manager is a big fan of the midfielder.
Ternent told Town's official website: "He's a player that I've tracked and he's been on my hit-list.
"He's an attacking midfielder with Championship experience and a proven record at getting goals from midfield.
"I signed him from Wigan when I was at Gillingham and I know he'll make the squad stronger and add more competition for places."
