Eccleston handed three-match ban
The 19-year-old infuriated Terriers manager Lee Clark after being shown a straight red card for his dangerous first-half tackle on Gillingham's Stuart Lewis. Huddersfield played with 10 men for over an hour and went on to lose 2-0, a defeat that keeps Clark's side outside the top six. Eccleston, on loan at the Galpharm Stadium until the end of the season after arriving in late January, will miss home league games against promotion-hopefuls Norwich (March 13) and Charlton (March 27) and also a trip to Leyton Orient (March 20) sandwiched in between.
