Drinkwater joins Huddersfield

Huddersfield Town have completed the signing of Manchester United hot-prospect Danny Drinkwater on a season-long loan.

The Manchester-born 19-year old progressed through the academy at the Premier League giants. He has also represented England at Under-19 level.

Speaking to the club's official website, Huddersfield manager Lee Clark said: "Danny is a midfield player that we have tracked for a long time.

"We have monitored him playing for Manchester United's reserve side and England Under-19s and we like him very much.

"He can play in all four positions across midfield and as an attacking player."
