Huddersfield boss Peter Jackson was furious with referee Graham Salisbury after he sent off Tom Clarke during Saturday's 0-0 draw at Swindon.
Clarke was dismissed after picking up a second yellow card for a foul on Jamie Cureton 20 minutes from time and will now be suspended for both legs of the Terriers' play-off semi-final against Barnsley.
Jackson said: "I thought the sending-off was very harsh, but then the referee gave a poor performance.
"We will be without Tom Clarke for two games and I am going to have to think hard about what sort of team to put out and how to change things."
