Clark salutes Town
Huddersfield manager Lee Clark praised his players as they extended their club-record unbeaten run to 23 matches by beating Dagenham 2-1.The Terriers kept up the pressure on second-placed Southampton, meaning they remain outside of the automatic promotion places on just goal difference.Jordan Rhodes was the hero once again, netting twice to overshadow Romain Vincelot's effort, much to the delight of Clark.Clark said: "We can only win our games and if Southampton pip us to automatic promotion you have to hold your hands up. We're unbeaten in 23 matches - that's half a season - and all my players have played a part."All my lads have worked damned hard in the second half of the season and we'll keep going right to the end."Clark admitted that his side were not at their best, particularly in the second half, and added: "We were a bit nervy and that's down to the expectation levels. Sometimes you have to win football matches a bit differently and that's what we did."
