Clark quiet on Howard move

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark has refused to be drawn on speculation linking Leicester City striker Steve Howard with a move to the club.

The veteran forward is thought to be high on Clark's wish-list as he tries to build a team that can challenge for League One honours this term, but the Terriers boss is remaining tight-lipped over any future move.

Speaking to the Huddersfield Examiner, Clark said: "As I've said before, Steve Howard is someone we know all about and have kept tabs on for a long time.

"But he's still a Leicester player and, as such, it would be disrespectful to comment further."
