Clark happy to face Magpies

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark will return to Newcastle United after his Terriers side were rewarded for their first round Carling Cup victory over Stockport County.

Clark, who spent a large chunk of his playing career with the Magpies, thinks the second round tie could be an exciting one.

It is the first time since December 1983 that the teams will have met in a competitive fixture in the north east.

Speaking to the club's official website, Clark said: "The game has all the attributes to make a very good cup tie.

"I would have preferred a home game to be honest with you, but we are going to have a great experience at a brilliant arena with the draw we've got.

"I'm thoroughly looking forward to it and so are the players."
