Clark clears up Ainsworth move

The 22-year-old winger signed initially on loan for a month last week, but the deal was extended until May on transfer deadline day. Clark said: "Lionel needs to be playing first-team football at a good level and the move suits both parties. "His move echoes Nathan Eccleston's in that the intention was always to make the move season-long, but we needed to get the paperwork through to make him eligible for the weekend." Ainsworth was signed for an undisclosed fee from Watford in January 2009 but has failed to hold down a regular starting place at the Galpharm Stadium.
