Clark: Rhodes needed a rest

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark defended his decision to drop leading goalscorer Jordan Rhodes in his side's goalless draw at Bristol Rovers.Clark freshened up his attack by calling up Robbie Simpson in place of Rhodes and was generally satisfied with the point."I felt Jordan was a bit jaded in our previous game against Carlisle and I'm pleased to change things around," Clark said. "No gauntlet has been thrown down to Jordan."In the dressing room there were several players who were not able to contribute, but from now on there will be changes in personnel."We're unbeaten in six league games now, but there are tests ahead starting with a very difficult game at home to Swindon on Saturday."They are the big surprise team of the division. Danny Wilson (Swindon manager) is very astute, having managed at the highest level, and it's going to be a tough game, but one that we're looking forward to."
