Clark: Pearce pushing for a place

The young centre-back is the only one of Clark's new signings yet to appear at first-team level, having been an unused substitute in the games against Bristol Rovers and Yeovil. The former England Under-19 international was signed from Premier League side Birmingham, initially until the end of the season, but Clark insists he will be involved sooner rather than later. He told the Huddersfield Examiner: "It's clear to see Krystian means business. "He trains with real intensity and has been catching the eye. There's a lot of football still to go this season and he'll certainly be involved."
