Carey joins Terriers on loan

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark has brought Celtic youngster Graham Carey to the club on loan until January.

The 21-year-old enjoyed a loan spell at St Mirren last term and will be looking to help the ambitious Terriers reach the higher reaches of League One before he returns to Glasgow.

Clark is delighted to have made the swoop, telling the club's official website: "Graham will bring brilliant versatility to the squad - he can play anywhere up the left side of the pitch.

"He played most of his games for St Mirren at left-back, but can also naturally play on the wing.

"He has a terrific left foot and looks as elegant as you'd expect from a quality left-footed player. He should play a massive part for us this season and the fact that he's just signed a new deal at Celtic shows how high their hopes are for him."
