Former Leicester City, MK Dons and Brentford boss Martin Allen is interested in becoming the new manager of Huddersfield Town.
Allen, 42, has been out of management since an ending an unhappy three-month spell at Leicester last August.
However, he would be keen on discussing the vacancy at the Galpharm Stadium following the League One club's decision to part company with former boss Andy Ritchie on Monday.
"I'm definitely looking to get back in the game," Allen told the Yorkshire Post.
"I've managed against Huddersfield before and it's an awesome set-up - it's a big club with good support.
"I have had several opportunities (to return) but it has got to be the right job for me."
