Woodwork leaves Clark frustrated

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark felt his side did more than enough to win and could not hide his disappointment after seeing them held 1-1 at Dagenham & Redbridge. Town dominated the first half and their reward finally came after 28 minutes when Joey Gudjonsson picked up a short corner and drilled a shot across goal, where Tom Clarke was on hand to poke home from close range. But Dagenham equalised from the penalty spot in the 59th minute after Lee Peltier had been adjudged to have handled the ball. Clark said: "They were a threat, but I think we've created more than enough chances to have won the game. Their goalkeeper was man of the match so that tells the story of the game. "We've hit the woodwork two or three times, so we're disappointed because winning is very important to us. "It continues our run, but after two hard-fought draws we wanted to come here and get the win which would have been good for us."
