Huddersfield midfielder Jim Goodwin has had his contract terminated by mutual consent. The 28-year old, who joined Town from Scunthorpe under previous manager Stan Ternent in June 2008, was contracted to the club until the end of the season. Terriers manager Lee Clark said: "Jim has been fantastic for my entire tenure as manager of the club. "He is an incredibly hard-working individual, who serves as a brilliant example for all of our young professionals and has never let me down when he's been called on. "I will do everything I can to help him find a new club, but I doubt that he'll need any help given his ability." Goodwin made a total of 47 appearances for Town, 28 under current boss Clark, and spent the second half of last season on loan at Oldham.
