Terriers duo join Shrimps on loan

The Shrimps have been tracking Craney, a creative attacking midfielder, since he was at Accrington but he decided to join the Terriers last summer. Striker Jevons has an impressive goalscoring record, helping both Yeovil and Bristol City gain promotions and recently notched a hat-trick in Huddersfield's pre-season friendly against Emley. But both Craney, 28, and Jevons, 29, have fallen out of favour with Terriers' boss Lee Clark, who is looking to trim his squad before the start of the season. Morecambe vice-chairman Graham Hodgson told the club's official website that he was delighted with the move, saying: "The club have been working tirelessly over the summer to add quality to the squad and the two signings have certainly done that."
