Scotland international Gary Naysmith will miss out again as Huddersfield look to extend their unbeaten league run to 19 matches at Tranmere. Defender Naysmith, who has made only eight league appearances for the Terriers since arriving from Sheffield United in the summer, is struggling with a new knee injury. Goalkeeper Alex Smithies also remains sidelined with the knee injury that forced him to withdraw from the England Under-21s squad, so Ian Bennett will continue. Defender Antony Kay is fit again after missing the last four games with an ankle injury and is hoping to be included in the squad, while manager Lee Clark has no other new injury or suspension problems. Winger Anthony Pilkington (leg/ankle) and midfielder Damien Johnson (knee) are are ruled out for the rest of the season.
