Terrier Goodwin undergoes surgery

Huddersfield Town midfielder Jim Goodwin has undergone an exploratory knee operation.The 27-year-old has been suffering with the injury for the past few months and it is hoped the surgery will finally discover what the problem actually is. Huddersfield have told BBC Radio Leeds the operation should not keep Goodwin out for the first game of the season at Southend on Saturday, 8 August. Goodwin made 35 starts in his debut season with Town, scoring one goal.
