Rovers call for inspection
Tranmere have asked the Football League for a referee to make an early pitch inspection ahead of Tuesday`s Johnstone's Paint Trophy area semi-final with Huddersfield.
The referee will visit Prenton Park on Tuesday morning at around 9am to check on the pitch ahead of the match.
Freezing temperatures have put the game in doubt as the cold snap continues throughout the week.
