Pumpkin danger for Terriers

Huddersfield have been warned to beware the "pumpkin ball" in their FA Cup clash at Cambridge by U's captain Paul Carden. The high-flying League One side take on Conference outfit Cambridge in the first round at Abbey Stadium on Saturday and must get to grips with the orange FA Cup ball. Carden told the Cambridge News: "It's orange and it resembles kicking a pumpkin. All the lads have been saying it feels very light, so we'll see how it goes. "We should see a lot of shots that dip and swerve and curl on Saturday. Normally you get an FA Cup ball which is exactly the same as the one you use in the league, but maybe just a different colour. "I heard David James moaning about the balls they use in the Championship the other day, saying they're big and heavy. "These are the complete opposite and the lads have enjoyed passing them around and shooting with them. It could be a good thing for us."
