Huddersfield winger Anthony Pilkington is set to undergo an operation on Thursday on the ankle injury he sustained against Rochdale on Tuesday night. Pilkington, an influential part of Town's side, was substituted during the 2-1 win over Dale and has since being diagnosed with a dislocated left ankle and a break to the fibula bone above the ankle. Terriers manager Lee Clark insists the injury is a massive blow to everyone involved at the club. "I had a couple of my players emotionally drained, with tears in their eyes; there were even a couple of the Rochdale lads who were the same - the injury was terrible," he told the club's official website. "We are a big family and the lads are distraught for Anthony. We were all very emotional and I was pleased at how hard the lads dug in and put everything to the side and picked up all three points. "They have seen a good friend - an important part of our team - pick up a horrific injury and it took the gloss off the night really."
