Pilkington missing for Terriers

Huddersfield will be without winger Anthony Pilkington for their trip to Bristol Rovers, but Jordan Rhodes is expected to feature. Pilkington's season is over after he dislocated his ankle and broke his fibula in the midweek win over Rochdale, while Rhodes, struggling for full fitness following a recent illness, was replaced by Danny Cadamarteri after an hour on Tuesday night. But Rhodes is likely to start again, with on-loan Arsenal teenager Benik Afobe alongside him after he scored his first goal for Town in midweek. Jack Hunt will continue at right-back as Lee Peltier sits out the second game of a four-match ban, but central defender Antony Kay is doubtful due to ankle ligament damage, so Jamie McCombe is on stand-by. Midfielder Joey Gudjonsson is expected to miss out again due to a hamstring strain and Alex Smithies will continue in goal following his return to the side in midweek due to Ian Bennett's groin injury.
