Mixed news for Clark

Huddersfield will be without suspended defender Lee Peltier for their clash at Brentford. But skipper Peter Clarke will return to the starting line-up after sitting out the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Tranmere due to a one-game ban. Peltier received his fifth booking of the season against Tranmere, so Scott Arfield is expected to switch from midfield to right-back. Midfielder Damien Johnson, on loan from Plymouth, has been ruled out for the season due to cruciate knee ligament damage and Joey Gudjonsson, who was recalled to the starting line-up at Tranmere, will continue. Manager Lee Clark has also been boosted by the return of on-loan Arsenal teenager Benik Afobe, who missed out in midweek after returning to the Emirates Stadium to play for the Gunners in an FA Youth Cup tie. Long-term absentees Gary Naysmith and Tom Clarke are edging closer to recalls after recently returning to training, while fit-again striker Lee Novak is likely to start on the bench again.
